Sara Ramos was born in Vila Real in 1989. She graduated in Integrated Master of Bioengineering from the Faculty of Engineering from the University of Porto in 2013. Later, she concluded a PhD in Environmental Engineering in the same faculty in 2020 with a thesis on ‘Emerging contaminants, from waste to taste? – Ultraviolet-filters and Synthetic Musk Compounds as case study’.
Her work has resulted in articles published in international journals, as well as communications in international congresses.
Now, her work is focused on environmental contamination towards occupational health, monitoring known chemicals in order to guarantee professionals safety.
